Displaying customer reviews in a slider is a smart way to build trust and keep your site interactive. A review slider rotates testimonials, making your page more dynamic without overwhelming the layout. With the Sliderberg plugin, you can create a clean, customizable review slider right inside the WordPress block editor.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to build a review slider using Sliderberg—complete with names, photos, review text, and ratings. See the demo of the review slider below that I will create today for this tutorial.

Step 1: Install and Activate Sliderberg

To begin, install the Sliderberg plugin:

1. Go to Plugins → Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Search for Sliderberg in the plugin search box.
3. Click Install Now and then activate the plugin.

Now you’re ready to create your review slider.

Step 2: Insert Sliderberg Block

Open the post or page where you want to insert the review slider.

1. Click the + icon to insert a new block.
2. Search for Sliderberg in the block search box.
3. Select the Slideberg block, and it will be inserted.

Your first review slide is now ready for editing.

Step 3: Design the First Review Slide

Select “Blocks Slider” after inserting the Sliderberg block.

Click the “Add Slide” button (1) to add more slides. Select a solid color for the slide (2). For today’s tutorial, I will select a solid color.

Once you have set your background, you can add the actual review content to your review slider.

Add Your Text content and heading in the slider.

After adding the testimonial text, you can add star ratings. Since Sliderberg does not have its own Star Rating block, you can use the star ratings from below.

You can directly copy and use these star ratings inside the Sliderberg block. Here’s the demo below.

Step 4: Insert Image (Optional)

You can also add an image after or before the star rating. To add an image, insert the Column block and select the 5th style.

Now, select the middle column and insert the image block.

Click on the Add Image button (1), upload your image, or select an image file from your media library (2).

For the tutorial, I will upload my custom image for the review slider.

The Image block lets you adjust the image alignment and resize it according to your needs.

Lastly, add the reviewer’s name.

Step 5: Duplicate the Slide

In this step, you can create a new slide or duplicate the current slide. If you wish to add a new slide, click the Add Slide button.

Alternatively, you can click the Duplicate button to duplicate the current slide, which is a faster way to maintain consistent formatting.

Step 6: Slider Customization

After finishing creating the review slider, customize the whole appearance of the review slider.

You can customize the slider by editing its width, animation, autoplay, navigation, and carousel settings from the right-side panel.
